Competition: Win a copy of Blossom Street Brides by Debbie Macomber

13 Feb

Philippa Cotton at Random House Books emailed me to tell me about this new publication and this is what was said about the book

Blosson Street Brides by Debbie Macomber, published by Arrow at £5.99

“Set in Seattle, this is a story of three very different women whose lives intersect in unexpected ways. Three very different women meet in the yarn shop A Good Yarn, and as they knit together they find strength through each other to help them with their problems. Meanwhile baskets of knitting are found all across the city with the label ‘KNIT ME’ – when each scarf is finished it must be brought to A Good Yarn and it will be given to homeless shelters. But who has begun this wonderful scheme? It is a beautiful story of love, family and friendship.

Perfect for fans of Maeve Binchy, Cathy Kelly, Erica James and Sheila O’Flanagan, this weddings novel from the international bestselling author is an ideal Mother’s Day gift. With more than 150 million copies of her books in print, translated into 31 languages, Debbie Macomber has an immense base of faithful fans.”

Perhaps because of my love of knitting, crochet and all other crafts I was offered a free copy of this novel, with a second copy to be given away by me as a prize.

For your chance to win a copy, all you have to do is to comment on this blog with details of the best hand made gift you have ever received. This competition is open to all in the UK only.

Closing date for this is Friday 7th March when I will put all names in a hat  (perhaps it should be a ‘wedding hat’) and draw out the lucky winner.

Good luck!

11th March 2014

How embarrasing! No comments were made so obviously no winner… I have suggested a recipient of the book to Philippa Cotton of Random House publishing and hope its enjoyed in its new home…….
